  • What is CellyNation?

    Cellynation is a Canadian-run website designed to help players find ice time, and organizers to find players for their games. Our goal is to provide a convenient and accessible platform that connects hockey players and organizers from all across our great hockey nation!

  • How does it work?

    Organizers post their games on Cellynation and players sign up for a spot online. This makes it easier for organizers to manage their games and for skaters to find ice time in advance!

  • How do I create a profile?

    Click on the orange “Sign Up” button in the top right and create your player account, or you can also create the account with Google.

  • How do I sign up for games?

    Click the “Join Now” button and select your role (player/goalie) and then fill in your contact information. Once your payment is processed then you're all set!

  • When will the payment be processed?

    Your payment will be processed securely by Stripe. Your payment will be released to the organizer once the game is completed.

  • Do you charge platform fees?

    We collect a 10% fee when players register for games in order to make sure we keep providing the best hockey finding platform in Canada!

  • Do I need to have a Stripe account to register for a game?

    No. You simply need to pay with a credit card or debit card. The process is very easy!

  • What if I need to cancel my game?

    If you cancel your game over 48-hours prior to the scheduled game, you will receive an automatic refund through Stripe. If you need to cancel the game within 48 hours of the scheduled puck-drop, please contact the organizer for further information

  • Who can post games on Cellynation?

    Anyone can post a hockey game on Cellynation! An organizer could be an individual, a captain, or a rink manager.

  • How do I sign up to be an organizer?

    Click on the orange “Sign Up” button in the top right and select “Organizer” to create an account. You will need to set up an account with Stripe on your dashboard once you signed up.

  • How do I post a game?

    Go to “Account Details” then click “Dashboard” from the drop down menu. You will see a “Game Listing” button. *Note: You will need to create a Stripe account before you’re able to list games on our site.

  • When and how do I get paid?

    Once your've connected your Stripe account, your payout will be deposited into your account within 7 days of your game finishing. This policy is set by Stripe Canada. After your game, please make sure to mark it as "Completed" on your dashboard to initiate the payout process. *You can add or change bank account details any time through your payments dashboard.

  • I'm an organizer. What if I need to refund someone?

    If the player cancels from the game 48 hours prior to the game's start time, Stripe will refund the person automatically. If the cancellation happens within 48 hours, you will be responsible for refunding them manually. You can contact the player with our chat function in the dashboard regarding the refund.   • What if I need to cancel my listing?

    If you cancel your game over 48-hours prior to the scheduled game, the players will receive an automatic refund through Stripe. If you need to cancel the game within 48 hours of the scheduled puck-drop, you will be responsible for manually issuing refunds to the players from the organizer dashboard.
